It was Zen 2 so those were some binned CCDs that just didn't quite make the cut for a 3800X or 3950X, but were better binned than the 3 core CCD chiplets dumped for the 3600 and 3900X.

AMD really needs to step the game up, their igpu linueup is nonsensical, i can go get an i3 with a iris xe that curb stomps all of the dogshit that isnt a 660m/760m, and if i were to pay for that level of hardware i could still get a arc in any new core ultra or a older dgpu to curb stomp that. really hard to find the angle amd is playing now that intel has caught up to ryzen and graphical power has become far more important. really why would i go out and buy a ryzen 3 / i3 new, when i could go get a 2500k with a rtx 3050 to play games and the 3050 would still be the limiting factor, beyond amd/intel debating there's 0 reason to buy budget class hardware new now.
