Rockstar reiterates Grand Theft Auto VI plays best on PlayStation 5 and has a huge advantage of fixed/standard hardware that the game can be specifically optimized for.

Game devs know the exact specs of the PS5 so can code and optimize specifically for the hardware. For the PC they have to code a general version which works on a potato PC and many other variations so it cant be coded anywhere near as efficiently
