Are you gonna buy one once OLED 3ds hit the market?
I got to try one at gamescom, and they are very cool tech and 3D is very worth it if there is widespread adoption
The question is also how good these monitors will be at 2D, but if they are good at 2D and have 3D they should be the ideal choice

>if there is widespread adoption
Few people can even afford a computer anymore, what do you really think are the chances of something like this gaining widespread adoption?

i had a 3d tv and i liked it
i had a lot of fun playing Assassins creed brotherhood in 3d
sure it wasn't perfect, but i am used to wearing glasses and never got the headache everyone was whining about

>Few people can even afford a computer anymore
Doesnt seem that way to me.
And plenty of people allready own a very strong PC to make use of the monitor
Up untill 2025 PCs were priced very reasonably, I paid less then 2000 for a high end machine in 2024

When the 3D hype began, I thought I'd eventually get it. But by the time was in the market for a new monitor, the fad was over, all manufacturers had given up, even Nvidia had removed driver support.

Every 20 years or so they try to bring 3D tech back, and every 20 or so years it still sucks dick.

I like my 3DS, and my Playstation 3D Display is a neat gimmick. I'd buy in if it finally catches on, but I'm not paying $1,200 for a 27 inch monitor that works properly with a relative handful of games. That's what I paid for my Sony OLED TV in the living room.

Still to try an oled screen bigger than my penis
