The (near) future is agentic and cloud computing, Microsoft is lucky to have so many companies depending on them and they are really big in the cloud field + agentic research. The future is posix and posix compatible, unix and unix like. It's insane how good AI can navigate and troubleshoot those machines, no wonder MS is investing in WSL and the new coreutils for Windows. Every fucking thing on this planet is BSD, Unix and Linux, Windows is the odd one, this is not sustainable in the future, Xbox is already dying, Windows gets worse... Microsoft will be a cloud giant and subscription service and now with Azure Linux, I feel like they are preparing to switch to the Linux kernel. I know many Wintards call this cope and dreams, but follow every fucking thing Microsoft has done in the recent years, it's all about AI, Containers, Cloud and being Linux compatible. Mark my words, fuckers.
