If you're buying a business class laptop, this shows that you are already unconcerned with maximum performance, and the increase in performance over the 2020's, while significant, is barely significant enough to materially affect your daily computing tasks. You might be able to compile firefox faster on newer laptops, but outside of doing something like that, you'll hardly notice a difference.
