arch
gentoo
artix

also recommend what DE or WM I should use

I have used:

kde
xfce
DWM
i3
hyprland
wmaker

so what do you think?

I'd prefer a non systemd distro but if you recommend a really good distro but it uses systemd I will ignore that fact

So you tried all these and you didn't like them?
I'd say go with Debian (or Devuan, it's exactly the same but without systemd), also try Cinnamon, it's more polished than xfce but not as bloated as kde.

I liked gentoo it was fun
I liked arch and artix too

im just looking for something new to try out

ngl I thought about going back to try kde again, it's polished and feels and looks nice and just works
