Bitches with 5090 can you explain to me why you still haven't used your GPU computing power to creat local AI that would read freebsd source code and bruteforcerly reimplement syscalls of PS5 proprietary OS? If you started it just a few months earlier we would be able to run GTA VI on PC at the release day. It just x86 Zen 2 rdna 2 PC with proprietary freebsd fork. What you waiting for? Move your asses. With 5090 there's no limitation in tokens or time share or reverse engerinig prohibitions.
>>109724988If they would have if they could, notice how ai has produced literally nothing other than a few silly pictures on the internet?
>>109724988>dumbcat doest know how shit vibecoding truly isim shocked
>>109724988but you're poor. even if a PS5 emulator existed you'd need dual RTX 5090s to run it smoothly. just buy a fucking PS5 you dumb jeet
>>109724988Im doing a switch 2 emulator as we speak
>>109725055>years have passed since coding has been “solved”>no Photoshop clone.>no Lightroom clone.>no notable Linux usability improvements >none of the major paid apps have an equally viable open source alternative.>no games “built by one man and AI”
>>109725068Why can’t they vibe code a set of native instructions that without costly virtualization. It’s an AMD chip that can literally run steam.
Remember add make no mistake on every prompt.
>>109724988No use case.
>>109725068use AI to reverse engineer the games and optimize them so they run fast
>>109724988OP, there's a reason people vibecode shitty music players and note taking apps instead of emulators. vibe coding isn't the "solution" you think it is.
>>109724988So, instead of realizing how having an LLM code something complex is a fantasy, you decided to double down on your stupidity and ask other people to do it for you. Seen some stupid shit in my life but this is special.
Whatever "AI" is being used would have to reverse engineer proprietary freeBSD code and graphics APIs. there's no fucking source code to work with.
>>109725003>If they would have if they could, notice how ai has produced literally nothing other than a few silly pictures on the internet? If you actually believe this, you aren't going to make it. dear lord.
>>109724988You will never be a real programmer. You have no skill, you have no knowledge, you have no ambition. You are an untalented loser twisted by prompts and chatbots into a crude mockery of an engineer. All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your “impressive” projects behind closed doors.Programmers are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed coders to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even vibecoders who “pass” write uncanny and unnatural code. Your project architecture is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get your PR accepted by a project, they’ll turn tail and bolt the second they gets a whiff of your long, em dashes in comments. You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.Eventually it’ll be too much to bear – you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your failures, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a vibecoder is buried there. Your codebase will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a git history that is unmistakably slop. This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.
Nice try, Sonybots. Keep slandering vibecoding but it wouldn't wreck our electric vibe dream. PS5 will be emulated.
>>109725209touch a nerve? you didn't actually fall for the singularity meme about how all your problems are going to disappear?
>>109725073And how is it going? Are you able to launch Prime 4?
>>109725540No, im still making the readme.md for the github
>>109725132luddite cope. AI replaced codetrans and years worth of codes can be generated in seconds now
>>109724988bro I can't even vibe code a basic ass romhack
>>109725452>luddite is retarded exhibit a*yawn*
>>109725209Rene of T2SDE is the only guy that makes something of value with LLM. The rest is just garbage webshit saas that does something retarded, porn or cat pictures.
>>109724988Cool. What PS5 games do you have running in it?
>>109725580>ludditeDon't worry I'm sure ai will make it so you don't have to go to work in the morning and you will live forever, two weeks tops!!
>>109725678For a while I can only play with my dick.
>>109724988My Gen 5 drive….sitting idle
AI cannot do anything new, there's no PS5 emulator in the dataset so it cannot make one.
>>109725554Great! What do you do with it other than make Spotify run slower?
>>109724988Making a PS5 emulator would be fairly trivial, you don't even need an LLM. They're literally just x86 freebsd PCs.The problem is that all the disks are encrypted, and you'll get DMCAd (see yuzu) if you do manage to extract the keys from the console and decrypt games.
>>109726731>what is bittorrent
>>109726731you are a retard.it was forked from freebsd years ago, had billions of dollars thrown into re-writing and adding to freebsd.what you are talking about is reengineering binaries which yes ai can do it but has nothing to do with freebsd.
>>109726835>what is encryption>>109726880It's still just posix or posix-adjacent syscalls and some modern graphics API.An "emulator" would be something like wine (wine is not an emulator), but significantly less complex (at least on posix operating systems). You don't have to "re-engineer binaries". It's all just x86 code. You need a translation layer for the syscalls and graphics API calls. It's far less complex than full emulators in the past. Even yuzu would be more complex, because it's ARM->x86.
>>109726731>and you'll get DMCAd (see yuzu) if you do manage to extract the keys from the console and decrypt games. So why don't they just recompile the games and have them run natively on PC?You know... like real ports?
>>109726982Why would you need to recompile anything? It's literally just x86.The whole problem is getting the raw machine code in the first place, because the games are all encrypted.
>>109727015Then someone should use AI and crack the encryption.
>>109727015they decrypt to play how hard can this be
>>109727025>>109727029https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Encryption_Standard/g/ just gets worse every time I come on here. I guess it's time to leave.
>>109727049Except we live in a completely different world now. As we approach AGI then nothing becomes impossible anymore.
>>109727049the game gets decrypted on the device... the decryption keys are on the device.
Why would a 5090 owner do that though? If they can afford a 5090, they can afford a PS5. Whether they would want a useless piece of sand with no games though, idk.Either way stop being poor and do it yourself.
>>109727228> If they can afford a 5090, they can afford a PS5.PS5 still struggles with native 4K 60fps.
>>109727304It cant run 30 fps 1080p
what is the current progress on ps5 emulation?
