Australia just banned AI music.
Now what?
Soon every country except america will do the same.
who is too blame for this?
>>
Unless you do something blatantly obvious like use an AI voice, how would they even know the music is AI generated?

clear trade barrier. trump will fix this when he gets around to negotiating trade deals with them.

song (it is a cover) is idiotic as well
and it became a hit if what msm says is true

but yes sometimes you shrimply can not tell
if processed via some tool it probably makes it sound very convincing

Corresponds with countries with the best looking women. Really makes you think...
>>
>>109740116
Only if you are comparing it to modern pop garbage which was already so bad it might as well be AI
>>
>>109740084
I can generate a complete song then edit it a little bit in software and sdd my own vocals over the instruments. How are they going to figure it out?

Because you dont exist, where is the photos of your band? you cant fake a live performance, you cant fake performing the song. You are just one smelly prompter.
Now if you prompted a song, hired a whole real life band, gave them an image, marketed them etc thats fine, but 99.999999999% of "prompters" dont have the skills to do that or else they wouldnt be prompters and would have done something with their lives already.

If 99.9% of money nowadays comes from touring, this ai music is a total waste of time getting in the way or marketing the touring bands who actually make money. Thats the business angle anyway.

This is also why ai music is going to be banned from eveyr music chart in every country too.
>>
>>109740084
what he meant is that there's nothing that can detect if a music is ai or not. not even AI can tell if the music is ai or not.
>>
>>109740084
Nigga, there are effort levels to AI, sure you can write 3 sentences and get a song at the press of a button vs spending actual effort, you could spend a lot of effort and similar process to audio engineering traditionally is just replacing the recording studio effectively. Low effort you may be able to tell when it's all same-same, high effort not so much.

Like we already have autotune which is widely used 10+ years ago. We have software defined instruments in frooty loops.

Like you could even still do autotune on real vocals, but use AI generated lyrics, and then use AI to come up with the instruments, and probably re-render them in FL studio, and show 'proof' that it's not AI when it secretly was

There's 100s of ways to 'cheat'
>>
>>109740184

yes but prompters cant do any of those things. You cant make any real money unless you can tour and play the music live which none of this tech can do and nobody wants to go to a concert to see one computer on stage just playing a song.
>>
>>109740179
You don't need a band. You can be a solo musician. Do you know what autotune is? Pre-AI. You can create a score with real sounding instruments in FL studio - also pre AI. You don't need a band or band member for every instrument. You've been able to do software defined music very well before AI.

I can show I recorded my own real lyrics and used autotune. I can show my tracks and score in FL studio. And that exists years ago before AI already.

But I can AI generate my lyrics, I can AI generate the music, and then re-render the score in FL studio, and show every part looking just as real as genuine processes used by real musicians/bands prior to AI
>>
AItroons seething ITT
>>
>>109740201

but for some reason you havnt, even though you seem to think you can just pump out a hit song and nobody will notice that you are just a prompter with no actual band and no way to perform it anywhere ever.
>>
>>109740194
Musicians have done live autotune, and prior to that they've lip synced their own music. Absolutely they can. You're also talking about large following musicians/performers/bands.

I went to an audio engineering school back in the day (though not for audio/music) it offered other stuff. A simple prompt is low effort and lazy, but it's not that difficult to make it "legit" with AI.

You don't need vocal talent (already since before AI), you don't need to be able to play any instruments. You just need a good ear and good taste, and with AI generating the actual music from prompt you won't need any understanding of music theory, just the ability to use a piece of software to recreate what AI has given you.

TL;DR people can absolutely still do this and there's financial incentive in doing so, whether the average person doing it makes any money or not is another story, but I can guarantee you that it will be done with music that does make money
>>
>>109740216
I don't care about being a musician or performer. I have no motivation to really get into it at all. I've played with Mureka and made maybe like 5 tracks to add to my own road trip playlist, that I also listen on the way to work. That's the extent of my interest.

The people at the top of the pyramid able to make money will do so however.
>>
>>109740184
Are you missing the point or just retarded? I can ask AI to write and arrange a complete song for me and then me and my band can learn to play and perform it ourselves. Repeat that 10 times and we got an album. Who's gonna find out we're frauds who can't make music for shit?

>>109740036
AI music must becoming too good. If it's crappy, they would have no need to ban it.
>>
>>109740240

calls person retarded, replies to wrong post, post is wrong anyway...
>>
>>109740232

this is not what we are talking about, majority of bands have people writing their songs for them already.
A band already is a band, with an image, musical talent they spent years developing, actual skills.

A prompter is a none of these things, they are somebody lazy who typed a few sentances into a program. And why wouldnt the band just do this themselves instead of hiring you to type the few sentances into your ai machine?
>>
>>109740246
