Everything you need to get an ad-free YouTube Music experience on iOS without paying for a subscription, you can sideload custom modified IPA files like YTLitePlus or YouTubeiVanced using tools like Sideloadly, AltStore, or SideStore. With Google locking down, it's crazy to think in 2027 iOS will be able to install files without a pc and android will need a 24 hour wait than a pc adb file load. No waiting time is needed to use ipa files and sideloaded apps on iOS.

Dumb question bros but I was looking for a phone to buy and thought Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra would be a good fit for my needs and pricepoint but I don't know if my carrier's e-sim works with it, I dunno how that shit works
I'm in Canada with Telus, will I be able to just transfer my shit to the new phone as is like that
>>
>>109745885
>POCO X8 & POCO X8 Pro: These versions strictly use physical Nano-SIM cards and do not support eSIM.
>POCO X8 Pro Max: This premium model fully supports eSIM, making it easy to connect to Canadian networks without a physical card.
>POCO X8 Power: This newly announced version can handle up to two active eSIM profiles at the same time.
>>

Oops wrong letter, X not F.
>eSIM Capability: The Global version features eSIM functionality, allowing you to activate digital profiles directly through QR codes or network provider apps in HyperOS.
>Canadian 4G & 5G Compatibility: The device includes the primary network bands required across Canada:
>4G LTE: Bands B4, B7, B12, B13, B66, and B71
>5G Sub-6: Bands n66, n71, n78 (3500 MHz), and n38
>Carrier Suitability: It pairs well with major Canadian carriers and their sub-brands (including Rogers, Telus, Bell, and Freedom Mobile), offering proper coverage across urban and rural frequencies.

Man, where does it even say stuff like this? When I searched for it it just says Telus doesn't support any non google, samsung or apple crap
Do I need to do extra shit to activate it if I get the phone, how does it work? Can I just bring it to one of my carriers shops and they'll just handle that? Thanks for the help btw

Here's the latest iOS 27 beta with the latest Siri ai VS the latest Gemini ai. You can use the link to watch the video to see the before and after results and it's not even close the new Siri AI beats the Gemini AI in photo and video editing. Google messed up the parking lot lines for the parking spaces, it also messed up the guy's eyes when removing glasses, it also messed up removing his hand holding the laptop and finally it was not able to remove the entire shelf against the wall.

You can use Sai paired with Shizuku to install unsigned APK's, even after the supposed, "locking down". Both apps are signed and available on the Google App Store and so are easy to install.
>>
>>109746031
for now......
>>
>>109745954
Yeah you'll need your ID if you don't have an active SIM utilizing your number. I erased my eSIM partly by accident when I swapped phones, eventually I realized I had to go to Bell (but should be the same for Telus) and they sorted me out eventually despite some confusion with GrapheneOS, the eSIM prompt eventually showed but we were already doing a transfer to a regular SIM. Which I later changed to an eSIM online.

You can usually do it online for an eSIM, you just type in your one number (EDID I think not sure) and confirm and it SHOULD eventually pop up on your phone.

Hello r€ddit! Welcome to 4chan!

Note, you will still be able to sideload anything you want on GrapheneOS, LineageOS, /e/OS, or any other non-Google certified ROM. You will be able to sideload WHATEVER you want indefinitely on Google certified ROMs after toggling an option, you may have to wait a cooling off period to really fuck with scammers trying to get grandma to install their malware.

Now, compare this with iOS. They already mandate developer verification (even on macOS but this can be turned off, unlike on mobile). You can sideload, but you need a computer and must renew every 7 days if using altstore. You can trust sketchy "services" to sideload directly on the iPhone, but they keep getting their certs and developer licenses banned because they are against Apple's policy.

So if you're switching to iOS because Android is "locked down" now, you're really just going from a frying pan that isn't even turned on to the fire. You can't even get a different web rendering engine on iOS, it's Safari (webkit) or 70 other browsers which are also using webkit.
>>
>>109747853
you literally just made everything up and have provided no sources for your claims, and the seven-day renewal thing has not been an issue with iOS for a long time. You don’t have an iPhone, you don’t know what you’re talking about, and you’re literally just here lying, and it’s pathetic. Google’s locking down and it’s over and it’s a good thing too, less scammers making fake apps and taking advantage of people. cope.

Every company is making out like bandits by selling $10 BOM TWBs for $250. Why would they even give you an option to use cheap wired buds again?
>>
>>109747383
>I still have no fucking idea why audio jacks died out
Because they are unironically more expensive to implement in flagships. You're not just paying $0.1-$0.2 per piece, you're also paying engineers to structure the internals of the phone differently while keeping the same target size, feature-set and build quality. Most flagships are extremely tightly packed already.
3.5mm jacks still exist in many budget and mid-range phones which aren't struggling with internal space.

I hate Bluetooth. It sucks. I have to use it in the car because of the random phone call. Sometimes it cuts the volume in half for no discernable reason. When I go through the tunnel, I get a random alert about traffic that's not really there and it flips my audio channel in the process.
Even wired Android Auto still uses Bluetooth, despite the phone being plugged in. Why? Just use the cable.
When I look for a device to connect, there are always ten random devices nearby. How much of this shit is going through my house? I need to move to the middle of nowhere.

prove what was posted in false with sources and information and links, we don't trust fanboys like you. its obvious youre covering for samsung and looking the other way while they cause the ram crisis and sell defective smartphones that have failing screens, batteries that blow up, devices that catch fire while charging and also foldables that dont open or close properly after 1 month and creases in the screen that get worse. not my problem you refuse to accept reality.

NO THAT'S A FALSE OPINION!!!!1

But someone posting on reddit? That's not an opinion, it's a fact. This guy is such a clown and drowning out discussion in the thread with his spam and flamewar tactics.

>>
>>109759708
Nothing that I posted is spam. Look at how you incorrectly label factual information that way, failing to prove yourself. Top kek. You can't debunk the valid information BECAUSE ITS REAL. I provided links with sources and all you do is post paragraphs of misinformation. You can't even prove your false claims. I accept your concession. Too easy. The posts about smartphones will continue because this is a general for it.

why are all phones so brick-like nowadays I remember switching from a xperia 10 iii to 10 v and it felt horrendous and they just keep doing it since then it's been like three or four years of unergonomic bricks feels awful to hold these things in hand I mean how hard can it possibly be to round the back just a little bit

Yo-ho, niggers! Imma finna buy a phone and I can't decide what to buy.
I bought a Moto G7 pre-covid. It works well! But it's on Android 10 and I have to upgrade, now or next year.
I know chinkshit has better specs for lower prices, but I don't like the data exfiltration they do. So Xiaomi and the like are out.
I hate Samshit. So that's out too.
That leaves us with Applel and Pixlel.
I'm partial towards the Pixel 10a because it doesn't have a camera bump and has zero bloat and will get updates for seven years. And I've read a ton of complaints about the modem in previous Pixel phones, but not for this one. The 9a has a worse modem, so I won't buy that, even though it's the same phone. And the 10a is the last phone that supports GrapheneOS. Maybe the Pixel 12 will but I can't wait that long.
I could also spend twice as much and buy the iphone air.
I wanna know if Pixels are stable. Do they have weird bugs? Can I actually use this thing for seven years? Same for Applel.
I use my phone for normal stuff: payments, messaging, occasional youtube vid, etc. No gaming.

I've been raw-dogging lineage for six years and I'm tired, boss. I just want things to work and not have to fiddle around in magisk every month. I barely, if ever, use my phone for anything private and if I buy anything the juden know about it anyway, and they would know even via grapheneos. So it doesn't make much sense to me to be THAT privacy-oriented. I draw the line at my photos being uploaded, though.
>>
>>109760548
Where is it launching though? They left Europe, right? Do they still launch in NA?
>>
>>109760624
The fuck do you even need magisk for?
>THAT privacy-oriented
GrapheneOS works perfectly fine aside from a handful of banks blocking it. My entire family is on GrapheneOS and nobody has any usability complaints aside from the default camera app being ass, which is easily fixed with a different app.

The point of Graphene isn't even privacy as much as it is security. It is literally the most secure consumer-grade OS out there.
>>
>>109760673
It’s a meme and it does not stop hardware back doors in smartphones
>>
>>109760673
Nigga I still have to log in to things with GrapheneOS, and I only ever use my phone for payments, messaging and occasional goy activities. All of these require logging in to an account.
GrapheneOS is a giant fucking red flag. Yes, it works. Actually telling someone you have it installed makes them think you're a pedo.

Are there any new phones worth upgrading to? My banking app dropped support for the old version of android on this phone so I'm thinking it might be time to upgrade. I do have a S20 ultra that I got from my parents when they upgraded their phones several years ago but I haven't bothered swapping to it. Also the back panel glue on it is failing so the panel is starting to detach

I'm pretty retarded when it comes to electronics and phones, never really needed to know much nor did I care.
My iPhone 13 is starting to show battery loss and I figured i'd switch to a new one in the near future. I cant find another new 13 available anywhere besides a ''refurbished'' one.
I was looking at the google pixel + GrapheneOS option.
How bad is a pixel 10 pro vs a new pixel 11/11 pro? its currently half price here and I might just grab one, though I hate androids UI

Replace the battery. Don't buy a new phone.

If you can actually install graphene OS go for it. otherwise be aware that google is ramming onboard AI with gemini in android and disabling it is a slider with a "trust me bro" attached but like it will analyze all your files and phone home to the mothership anyway most likely
>>
>>109760724
>All of these require logging in to an account.
There is literally nothing preventing you from logging into accounts if you use GrapheneOS, aside from a subset of banking apps.

Most people don't even know what it is. You're spewing fed propaganda.

>There is literally nothing preventing you from logging into accounts if you use GrapheneOS, aside from a subset of banking apps.
Yes, but that wasn't my point. If ~all my interaction on a phone is within these walled silos, then I don't need grapheneOS's enhanced privacy features at all. Also, yeah, I need payments and maybe banking to work flawlessly.

still a backdoor though and ALL smartphones sold in the USA and UK have backdoors. Snowden explained all the backdoors they had in 2012, they for sure have gotten better at it since that time.

>I've been raw-dogging lineage for six years and I'm tired, boss. I just want things to work
I've been using it since it was called CyanogenMod and that's also exactly why I want to move to GrapheneOS ASAP. Graphene issues are concentrated on one type of device, so you're more likely to find someone else with the exact same problem and probably the fix, and if something has no chance of working then you'll generally know up front. With Lineage, different things will simply not work like half the time, good luck trying to figure out why or finding a fix - the guy doing your nightly builds will sure as hell not have a clue either. I swear I've been coping with the same type of half broken shit on at least 6 different devices over the last decade.
