If you buy a "smart" TV, the first thing you do after taking it out of the box, is get the back cover off, source the Wifi and any other wireless antennae, and remove them. There might be a separate module. If not, cutting traces on the PCB and removing a section of the trace that makes up the antennae works perfectly. Reassemble. Congratulations, you just cost the manufacturer thousands of dollars by never allowing them to recoup the cash they'd make from advertising.
