The new comfyui node for sparse attention ( specifically tested at default values using Sol-attn) causes a progressive increase in memory usage paired with H3, as if leaking memory. Could anybody confirm this? My setup was already near maximum and i’ve used kjnodes to lower the memory allocation, which would end in OMM otherwise

So I did some research about image references, here are the results at 32 steps of sampling:>3 refs @ 2MP = 8:45>3 refs @ 0.98MP = 8:21 (4.4% improvement over 2MP), (3.5% total gen time improv.)>2 refs @ 0.98MP = 7:16 (13% speedup in comp to 3 refs at 0.98MP)>1 ref @ 2MP = 7:25Findings:Going from 2MP to 0.98MP made fine details slightly less accurate to reference and the image less sharp.Changing the quantity of references did not affect prompt comprehension, even at 1 reference with everything being cramped into the image.The single ref. at 2MP had the worst video quality due to the fact that the initial keyframe was effectively in 540p and the other references just as low, while not saving time over two references at 0.98MP.Conclusion:Keep the amount of references as low as possible and the resolution withing 0.98MP to 2MP, so if you have a lot of standing figure references you can cramp them into one image to massively save on time if you previously used 4-8 image references.If you use an image as first frame do not reduce the resolution below 2MP, the time speedup is simply not worth it. Overall going from 2MP to 0.98MP is almost negligible so I would keep references at 2MP if you want maximum fidelity and maybe even mix with the first frame being 2MP and the other references 0.98MP.Bonus findings:>The aspect ratio does not change gen times, only total pixel count matters.>You can put your references upside down into the reference images and it will still understand>Going over 2MP scales generation time exponentially>Going below 0.98MP has a negligible effect on generation time
