Or maybe you could get something cheaper like the hAP ax lite. Not too impressive hardware wise but it's still RouterOS with built-in LTE.

Just stick with them past their customer service scars and they'll help you.

If anything that's why people say Mikrotik routers are unsafe, they don't have safeguards and it's easy to fuck it up. When I was starting off I fucked up my configuration and opened the local DNS server to the web and had some interesting DNS query mishaps, but thankfully no phishing or anything. Now I have a fairly hardened configuration that by default blocks everything and selectively opens up access to the shit that should have access.

>>109759186Switch. Switch, switch, and once again, switch. You're not supposed to wire up every LAN device directly to your router in a proper network. That's what switches are for, and the router is there to hook up those LAN devices to WAN, but the twist is that LAN devices don't need a direct path to WAN all the time, hence why it's better to have a dedicated switch that only then hooks up to the router. It'll also offload all the LAN traffic from the main router's switch chip, there's a reason any network worth a shit is built with building blocks like that.
