I don't know why everybody ignores that but it's just bruteforce at this point
>>

They literally stole someone elses work
>>
>>109763654
The result is what counts. If it's "just bruteforce" why the fuck didn't anyone else do it.
>>
>>109763711
Because it’s not bruteforce kek

Lack of free money

Because it apparently cost more than 6 million dollars to do this.

all they solved was something everyone already knew to be true anyways, and they arent even claiming the prize because the proof technically isn't complete

just like the new symplectic integrators they found, which are more accurate than, are still just simple calculus
>>
>>109763711
Because they don't get trillions in taxpayer gibs like our greatest allies in funny little hats get.

>it's just bruteforce at this point
you have to steal it first from antropic

How about that it was literally stolen from a customer
>>
>>109764377
Not him but that guy was using AI for his findings as well.

What did those 10000 agents even do? Argue back and forth among themselves about which of them was the biggest retard?
>>
>>109764377
>literally stolen from a customer
said customer did not solve the full problem, also used an AI to get the partial result, and openai's proof apparently uses a different approach.
>>

Yoink.

I'M GONNA DO IT
I'M GONNA DO IT
I'M GONNA DO IT
>The hallucinating autofill calculator does it
NOOOOOO
>>
>>109764460
Yes but they aren't claiming they used AI in service of solving the problem they are claiming they had AI do thecwhole damn thing.
I am not a math wiz. I couldn't do this by working with an LLM or even know what problems to approach. They are essentially claiming the AI did it all. And without data.
>>
>>109763833
why is that retarded using greentext when xitter doesn't support it?
>>
>>109763654
doesn't matter if it's brute force, the ability to throw 100,000 grad-student-equivalent hours at arbitrary problems is going to reshape a bunch of fields
>>
>>109764534
try telling that to the "AI" shills on this board
>>
>>109763693
Their fault if they uploaded their shit onto ai or keep it public before actual proof
>>
>>109764704
the cost of tokens exceeds the "million" prize the human gets

KYS

That's all AI is. Throw unreasonable amounts of computer and memory at even the most simple problems. But in this case they actually just stole a math professor's work because he was dumb enough to use OpenAI and give them access to his data. Anyone doing work with cloud AI will have their personal and company data stolen.
