Is Mozilla account botnet?

Being able to sync tabs between devices and backup mobile bookmarks seems practical. Is there anything that the account would expose? It's not like Mozilla won't be able to create a shadow profile, based on using the same gmail on phone and desktop, if they wanted to.

not sure what's up with mozilla anymore, they can profile you and sell your data but do they? i don't know anymore. but i am 99% sure that you can self host firefox sync.
