>>109767785A lot of products have gone the same way, which is that the technology basically already peaked a long time ago but the stockholders demand more growth and so companies are forced to innovate however they can, and then they end up overengineering and making extremely minor "improvements" at best so they can resell the product and make numbers keep going up. I know a lot of modern phone cameras now just use AI to enhance/correct/upscale images now and if you have that enabled (It's probably on by default for normies anyway) it often ends up ruining close up details in photos
