>the economy is broken>the bubble is going to burst>we are heading into a crisis>brace yourself>open your eyes>we will all payThe thing about predicting a crisis or a bubble bursting is that it's very cheap to do so, as you're basically guaranteed to be right at a certain point. It doesn't matter whether a crisis comes in 6 weeks or 6 years or even decades from now, you can always look back with a smug smile and say 'see, I told you so, you wouldn't listen but I knew all along'.In the meanwhile, I've taken compounding returns from investments throughout the last 5 or 6 years while others have had their money eaten away on 1.5% APR savings accounts while inflation reached 10% YoY levels. It's sour grapes all the way down.Yes, I will eat shit when an inevitable market correction happens. That's why you only invest money you can miss.

>The bubble is so real it will burst in 2023>The bubble will burst in 2024>The bubble will burst in 2025>The bubble will burst in 2026AI won't slow down till the democrats in the US are in power. That is around.... Late 2028 assuming they win, if they don't and the republicans win again delayed by 4 extra years. But the AI downfall won't be at the start of the election it will be in the last two years.
>>109769270>The thing about predicting a crisis or a bubble bursting is that it's very cheap to do so, as you're basically guaranteed to be right at a certain pointTrue but also missing the point. I don't think most of the people predicting an AI bubble are concerned about how much value they can get out of day trading the stock correctly. I think they're pointing to obvious financial signs that the technology's "revolutionary" economic impact is being overstated and that getting tied up in it (not as an investor, but as a business or as a worker actually utilizing it) is climbing aboard a train headed for a cliff because you're building dependency on something which is being unsustainably subsidized and whose capabilities are consistently overhyped. How long can Mag7 extend and pretend last? No idea. They say "the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent" for a reason and I have no interesting in betting money on the specific timing of an inevitability. I'm more concerned about what happens when people throw their lives behind tech that catastrophically enshittifies itself because it needs to recover eleventy zillion dollars somehow.
It isn't popping before the IPO. Nvidia will do whatever they can with whatever they have to keep this shit inflated until the big payout.
