I've heard about people calling Tor a honeypot now and that the feds run most of the nodes so they can use them to identify you. Is that shit true and is there any alternative to it?
>>
>>109769443
if you just browse clearnet I guess it's ok, darknet is tiny though so I wouldn't risk it
>>
>any alternative
Escape civilization.

should I host a blog and write about cocks (cool operationcal code kappa socks) on the darknet?

We could build a real community there with forums and so on about technology. Someone just has to make a logo
>>
Many people would be in jail right now if that was true
>>
>>109769590
>Someone just has to make a logo
Good news: that stumbling block has been removed. AI (stable diffusion, etc.) can easily do that for you.
>>
>>109769590
you should. Make it a cool sounding name so it gets people. And make a cybersec section
>>
>>109769676
I guess so. I saw that some people were able to be de-anonymized by the three letter niggers by using different exploits and day one attacks. However those cases were far and few between
>>
>>109769443
According to this document when they discover a vulnerability, long before they let users know, they tip the US gov about it so it can be used as a backdoor. Also note how he said "do" as if they didn't plan to fix the vulnerability on purpose.

Alright grandpa
>>
Tried it, too slow. I bareback the internet. No VPN, No Tor. Just my bare IP, my DNS that talks directly to the TLD servers, my bare butt.

If I put an onion domain on one of my websites I just get trash talking to it, nothing of value.
>>
>>109769443
what do you use tor for, OP?
nothing illegal I presume?
>>
>>109770729
retards like you act as if Tor if full of cp and nothing else. Who cares about people buying drugs nigger it's 2026
>>
>>109769929
(You)'s feel nice tho
>>
>>109770822
>Who cares about people buying drugs nigger it's 2026
maybe some people are not american
>>
>>109769929
And what are you nigger? OP's concern is pretty valid considering how raped the internet is getting
>>
>>109770822
I buy my amphetamine at the local shop??? Why do they need internet for that?
>>
>>109770914
No, it's not a valid concern because OP hasn't brought up a valid problem to begin with. All these questions like "does anyone use it / is it safe / is it true the feds run it / is there any alternative" have no definitive answer in a vacuum. All of it is a "yes / no / maybe" depending on what you're you're actually trying to do. So there's no real point in trying to answer them, because, once again, OP isn't actually trying to do anything.
>>
>>109769443
It was created by a CIA employee, it was never safe.

>>109771222
navy sigint, but close enough I guess.

CIA also made the internet so I guess all hope is lost

This isn't mentioned enough but the best OPSEC rule is to not paint yourself as a target in the first place. This is why a lot of hackers avoid targeting medical or government infrastructure for no reason other than this. Meaning if you are doing anything cybercrime related you should probably rotate aliases regularly or preferably not have anything you do tied to any alias or group. If the 3 letter agencies want to find you they will, it's just a matter of time and cost. Basically all you can do is make it so the perceived time and effort it would take to "unmask" you isn't worth it. For 99% of people Tor is sufficient.
>>
>>109769443
only reason to use ts if ur a pedo lmao
>>
>>109769443
yes it is a honeypot
http://opbible7nans45sg33cbyeiwqmlp5fu7lklu6jd6f3mivrjeqadco5yd.onion/opsec/is-tor-a-honeypot/index.html
>>109769676
no that doesnt mean anything.
notice how millions of russians and eastern europeeans are in unencrypted chats with feds slinging fent and still no one goes to jail.
>>
>>109769590
It would be full of autists.
You think normies are bad, and they are, but turbo-autists are a thousand times worse.
>>
>>109775161
No one is reading your blog post retard. Everyone knows Tor is funded by the us gov like 90% of the internet.
>>
>>109770729
NTA, but I have traffic on Tor to aid CIA and help anonymize their operations against Iran more effectively, and because all the boomer feds retreat there to filter faggots and trannies
>>
>>109776168
So a honeypot, newfag.
>>
>>109769443
keeeek this nigga wants to look for 'P
>>
>>109775161
>notice how millions of russians and eastern europeeans are in unencrypted chats with feds slinging fent and still no one goes to jail.
it's because in the russia/eastern europe it's the police that is smuggling and selling the drugs, what are you 12. only people that get punished there are the ones that are outside of the police
>>
>>109776308
Don’t look up who made tcp/ip and sha or else you’ll die from shock. You wouldn’t be able to look at loli in peace if it weren’t for the us government so at least be thankful.
>>
>>109769443
it has to be some sort of honeypot, the exit nodes are blazing fast now compared to 5 years ago and there's only a few of them
>>
>>109776607
they are so fast so they can correlate all the activity, also all the ISPs around the world gather metadata on connections to exit nodes
>>
>>109769443
>Is that shit true and is there any alternative to it?
what's your opsec? It's impossible to give you an answer until you tell us which boogeyman you're trying to hide yourself from
>>
>>109774765
You know right, kids can use tor to post themselves without kyc censorship and age restrictions. You must be 30yo to use internet.
>>
>>109777135
would be funny if 10 year olds actually started using sites behind tor en masse
>>
I saw Brave has a built in Tor browser now.
Is that anywhere close to secure to use?
>>
>>109777170
I saw that brave browser offers a tor integration and brave is being shilled right now, so that doesn't seem too far off.
>>
>>109777902
Yeah, I also saw this. But I wouldn't use that.
>>
Nothing is 100% safe and secure. It's all about who is your adversary and how powerful and determinate they are.
>>
>>109769768
>according to man with severe mental illness that has nothing and can't read
go away, glownigger retard.

>>109776607
does this bait still work?

>>109777902
fuck no. it's not safe. are you stupid?
>>
>>109778089
>fuck no. it's not safe. are you stupid?
A stupid person would just use it.

But do you mean it's not safe from the authorities and ISP meddling, or not safe from hackers from the dark web?
>>
>>109769768
> literally decades old
Youd think after this much time there would be atleast 1 case example of someone caught or charged or something related to these exploits.
>>
>>109777914
>chrome browser
Nice try
>>
>>109769443
Safe for what?
Safe from the government? No
Safe from your parents or employer? Maybe
>>
Posr your make flags
