>Everyone is losing their job
>Cost to borrow money is at a 20 year high
> +10% yearly Inflation
>World War III (aka "Special Military Operations")
>Decide to fight two wars at once, none of which are going well
>U.S platform dominance stalled with China competing for users
>Tech CEOs burning all their money on AI to keep investor money from dying up
>Standard FUD/FOMO tactics we saw during the bitcoin bubble. e.g
>"AI escaped containment"
>"Humans will be replaced like horses"
>Meanwhile China is spending 1/10th on AI and selling more of their service

Lets be honest here, you were not creating any value building CRUD apps, this was all busy work. That busy work is not being offered by the banks/government/space aliens anymore and they're signalling that very clearly.

The major technology companies were supported by ads, no one was paying real money for Youtube/Facebook/Twitter but ironically those were the companies which employed the most IT talent.

AI isn't taking your job, it's just not possible to keep giving people fake jobs and pretending they're adding value, especially when inflation is so high, problem is they can't say that directly so they AI doom post.

"I'm not gutting my company because I'm failing, I'm gutting my company because I don't need employees anymore trust me."

I kinda share the doomerism, but I'm in Russia and not sure why you compare the war in Ukraine to ww3, it's been literally happening since 2014. The Iran war is even older than that, nothing new. The scale of the war in Ukraine may be different, and it'll probably spread to Eastern Europe too, but it'll happen in a few years at minimum

>Meanwhile China is spending 1/10th on AI and selling more of their service
I'm convinced China knows AI is a bubble and they're doing the bare minimum in the "race" against the USA to trick the US government and investors into bankrupting themselves
>>

the young people of your country are dying in the most retarded war ever, and you are this careless and cold hearted...
>>
>>109771197
Cool but can you provide real data?
Line/Bar/Pie graphs are all fake any ways and there for pushing a political message rather than really be useful.
>>
>>109771284
Yeah, they're ziggers and clueless themselves. I dodged the draft, it's still possible, if they want to go to Ukraine (which they do willingly) and kill children, good for them, I guess. I know what I talk about, because I live here and talked to plenty of young people, across different cities

The economy is doing relatively.

That's the plan.

I agree 100% OP, there are far too many bullshit adult daycare jobs. Busy work, HR, management, send-a-few-emails-a-day. These worthless jobs need to go.

Agreed. Get in the coal mines, you worthless low-caste cunt. You're going to be mining rocks until you die of black lung at the age of 45. This is "real work" and you will be doing it.

Sorry bro I'm in healthcare saving lives and my job will always be in demand. Not worried, worthless jobs need to GO.

Yeah I didn't read your post, I don't read garbage written by little low-caste cunts. Get in the mines white boy, your masters need their luxury. When you expire we'll be cutting you up and feeding you to pigs.

Everyone owns the newest $2000 iPhone. I see brand new 2026 cars on the road that cost $30,000-$50,000. F150s with empty truck beds. Your average everyday Joe is driving some ridiculous car he can't afford, it's all on credit.
Exact same problem happened in 2008, they gave subprime loans to fucking retards. No, Stacy doesn't need a $300,000 mortgage on her house. But she does. It's not sustainable, it will break within the next 3 years minimum.
To say nothing of the retards 6 figures in school debt for degrees that gave them nothing.
It needs to stop. Giving credit to the goyim was a mistake. If you can't afford it DON'T BUY IT. I've been a /biz/raeli since 2016 and I'm objectively in the top 5% for my age bracket, but it still feels like nothing. I know my peers are suffering, but they also spend $35 on doordash every night. It's sad more than anything. Grown adults who don't know how to survive on their own. Learned helplessness.

Scalpers are such an interesting phenomenon. Useless parasites with no value, all they do is soak up the resources and sell to the wealthier class. A true product of overpopulation. Literal, actual human parasites. After The Great Depression 2.0 hits they'll speak of scalpers in the history books during these times.

I'm 29yo not gen X. I see my zoomer coworkers struggle everyday, it's unreal. One was financing starbucks coffee with Klarna. Financing a fucking coffee, I thought it was an online meme until I heard it heartfelt from a coworker IRL. Not just one anecdotal report, so many of them struggle with the stupidest shit. It's unreal to me, I can't fathom it.

How is that a bot post? It's my honest thoughts on scalpers (human parasites with no value, the world would objectively be better without them)

Problem is, zoomers are struggling because they're fucking retarded. Why would you ever finance starbucks? Even with the hyperinflated prices thanks to orange retard, it's still plausible and immeasurably more affordable to buy some ground fucking coffee or instant coffee for under $10 a tin, the sugar and creamer a starcucks regular probably "needs" for another $10 total, and get at least a month of coffee out of it.

Yeah about that... they don't have their own AI, they distill their AI. And it's all government funded over there too.

That's not primarily people losing their jobs. That's a demographic transition. Maybe a few NEETs, but they didn't have jobs to begin with.
>>
>>109774672
It's true, China's AI is just copied western AI. Heck that chinaman recently flew back to the bug hive with a model from an American company he worked at and everything.

China's AI situation far worse than the US's. And you can't trust their AI, not that you can trust ANY AI as the recent proofs-stealing issue showed.

Fewer people in the labor market because they want to do different things with their lives, like being retired or mooching. If you look at the left side of the chart, the employment rate was much lower from the 1950s to the late 60s. Was the economy fucked for that entire period?
>>
>>109771252
they can't risk getting caught in a bubble and the gov are trying to minimise exposure to risk

>doesn't know what the labor participation rate is
>doesn't know women were mostly unemployed in the 50s-60s because they can't into physical labor

These people actually think AI is causing unemployment
>>
>>109775077
Yes, that's what I'm saying. Except women weren't unemployed in the 1950s & 60s. They just weren't in the workforce, which is what the lower employment number is showing.
>>
>>109771406
It's so funny that those jobs are like the bougie upper middle class ones.
>>
>>109771197
On one hand, I hear:
> It's fucking miserable looking for a job out here right now in tech
On the other hand I hear:
> We need h1b visas, stat, because we cannot find the skilled workers we need domestically

I could not get those two to align. Even if your candidates are not exactly what you want, you trrain them up. And then it clicked.

What I should have heard:
> We need h1b visas, stat, because we cannot find the skilled workers we need domestically, at the price we can afford given our operating margins
>>
>>109775307

It's like our clergy/priest class. Sinecures for people who are smarter than the general population but not particularly useful.
>>
>>109775483
h1bs are modern day slaves, they can't switch employers easily and they don't know employment laws or even civil laws in the country they're working in. Employers don't want to get local kids to work entry level jobs because they'll leave after 6months to a year and you have to find another one and train them up again.
