This is just worse in every way. if I had it I would literally never use it like this. I barely ever even watch content in widescreen.However, I understand that there are a lot of people for whom their phone is their primary computer now, and even though they might primarily use the phone in it's folded configuration, they probably do want it to watch larger videos or do other things that are a little more tablet oriented than is comfortable on a phone.
