When did it become acceptable for websites to just block you from viewing them without an account? And don't get me started on how they pretend that there's some technical impossibility at play stopping you from using the site without an account.

People still give forums shit for things that rarely happened (i.e. the "PM'd you the fix" fiction), but everyone just accepts this.
