Why would you want a "dev job" when you don't KNOW anything? You lived your life completely wrong. If you cared you would have been learning every single thing about computers, willingly, on your own, since you were a child. Now you're an adult and you're just now realizing you don't know databases or scripting and you need to "get into the industry"?

Just invest in a good pair of rubber gloves to protect your hands when you wash dishes.
