>ordered a 629 euros e-reader from amazon (boox note max)>arrives in a flacid beat up amazon box without any padding, bubble foil or anything sensible>package of the tablet is slightly damagedI'm thinking they banged it up hard, maybe it will affect the lifespan of the tabletwould you return it?
>>109783198stop being a faggot, and do a flip.
>>109783291>stop being a faggot, and do a flip.meaning?
The product box alone is usually enough for shippingId open it and keep it if it has no defects
>>109783333>Id open it and keep it if it has no defectswouldn't you prefer one with a perfect box? even for the purpose of reselling it at one pointthis is bullshit
>>109783198If I'm a bit angry when delivering packages I will drop them on the ground and kick them a few times.
I sent back at least 30 packages to amazon as a result of packaging them without padding and getting shipping damage on very expensive books etc
>>109783343If I got that I wouldnt even consider the box as damaged. Squished corners are pretty normal. I got an android tablet where the center of the box was pushed in and had a huge crease across it, and I kept it because the tablet was fine and had no backlight bleed or dead/stuck pixels, which I care about more.Send it back if it bothers you though. its your money.
Please God nuke america already look at this fucking shit please God humanity has suffered enough please just nuke the whole continent.
>>109783198No. It'll be fine.
>>109783198Amazon is the bottom of the barrel, you only have yourself to blame for using that garbage site.Anyways, the product is probably fine.
>>109783333Quads confirm packaging is fine.
>>109783198You'd have loved the good ole days of eBay - got a hard drive, loose, sans even alibi package material, in a literal shoe carton once. Needless to say, it was FOA. Seller tried to blame his gf `as he was away`, but I suspect he was just selling pre-fucked drives and trying to blame the post. But to your point, I've def seen even AMZN do way, way worse - if you are this fussy, buy retail in person. Its surprising 99%+ of shit shows up relatively unscathed tbqh, be grateful the system mostly works.
>>109785388Most e commerce website nowadays ship expensive products in loose unpacked packaging like they just don't give a shit.Literally the only time I ever received something impeccably packaged and in pristine condition was when I ordered a set of books from bibletruthpublishers. The stack of book came in a snugly fitting thick padded box, which was inside another box with filler materials in between the 2 boxes. It nearly made me cry. Wrote them an email thanking them for not being incompetent assholes unlike 99% of e commerce. They replied you're welcome and God bless you.Such an odd and rare experience
>>109787560>if you are this fussy, buy retail in person.Impossible in many cases. Stuff like this you need to order and pay for in advance. Pick up in store possible. Which leads to similar situations. You didn't get to choose it.
>>109783343I bet you're a fugly gook with glasses. Probably a little Chinese or Malaysian manlet>muh perfect boxfaggot
>>109788066White man, green eyes with perfect vision
>>109783198>order chinese shit>receive chinese shit>make an angry post on /g/
>>109788091Can you propose an alternative for a large e-ink reader?
>>109783198The box corner is slightly bonked. The people who designed the packaging thought of this when they designed the contents. If you open it, you'll find they padded stuff inside it around the actual tablet. Of course if you open it and that isn't the case and there's any issues with the actual product, or it looks like somebody already opened it and stuffed everything back in and returned it and the faggots at Amazon restocked it as new, return that shit.
>>109788098Don't get an eink tablet, but a regular tablet with a good oled screen.
