Bought picrel and it's taking time to ship.

What do you use your UMPC for, anon? I want to use it with Win 11, maybe try some linux distro as well. While Linux support isn't perfect, the price of the device is pretty decent. And everything seems to work besides the fingerprint sensor.

Might as well bring it to work and browse sites and do sysadmin shit on my website/imageboard during breaks. Also, I don't gayme, but I've seen some gaymer on youtube getting screen tearing on Linux. Is this entirely a Xorg issue? He was using one of those emulation OS'es built for retro games.

I'm thinking of copping either an old Pocket 3 or a Win Max 2.
I think the micro's keyboard is way too small.

I want something to bring around literally everywhere. Pocket 3 having active stylus support is good for notetaking.

Yeah it's a decent model. 8 inches instead of micro's 7. What are its ports like? I see there are different "modules". How does that work?
>>
>can't touch type
What's the point? I'd rather carry a 10-inch netbook in a fanny pack. It's equally autistic.

There's modular port on the back with two screws. You can choose between an USB 3.0 port, KVM (hdmi and usb) input, microSD slot or an RS-232 port.

Why not a Nokia Booklet 3G or a Sony Vaio P? Booklet is full aluminium unibody (and it's the only Nokia laptop ever made), and Vaio has nipple pointer, no touchpad (and is the coolest-looking laptop ever made).

Those are sovl, but at about the same price I can cop either of the two GPD options and get modern pc performance.

collecting dust because chinese can't into ergonomics
i got a 10.1" panasonic instead, it's slower, but it's much more pleasant to use

True, brother, so true. I have a Vaio P but getting a Booklet is like getting an unicorn in my country. But those are such unique netbooks, jesus.

Why do you /g/it's even buy these anymore when a Legion Go or similar is exactly these but better?
Z1 extreme handles Linux like it was made for it. Go ahead, do bazzite, Steam etc

I don't know the details of the device in >>109786957 but Micro PC 2 has a ton of ports: 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A, Ethernet, 3.5 mm jack, HDMI, SD card slot. Not to mention that you can pair it with several Bt devices on top of it all. Legion Go has way fewer ports, even if they allow eGPU connectivity. I also thought it's way pricier, but that's not the case. Thank you anon, I'll keep this device in mind.
Still, I don't game and I'm more of a Windows user than anything.
