But usually it is enough to have passive systems for solving this problem. Dry air makes water evaporate faster. If water is heated, it evaporates faster. If it has large surface area - faster. Wind blows over it - even faster.So I would sometimes have window completely open in the middle of the winter, let in some fresh air. Then place a wide plate filled with water on the table. Direct the hot air from AC towards water surface and let it evaporate for a day or so.That's low tech method, costs nothing, but looks awkward. Not gonna work with a woman in the house, she will remove it and pour the water out.But yeah, it depends on climate a lot. There are probably places with fucked up, moist and often near +0°C winter.
