Big model + deepseek is the meta and has been for months. Surely you are using Astra to manage its own infinite army of v4.1-flash slaves?
>>
What's the most pseudonymous way to use a frontier model, ideally with subscription pricing (not API)? I wanna use it for some personal stuff that I'd rather not get associated with my name forever and read by openai/anthropic employees for fun.
It's nothing actually illegal or whatever, I just wanna vibe code some stuff for lewd games (without actually involving the AI in lewd stuff or whatever, I'm confident it won't trip ToS), and it's the kind of shit I'd simply never use my real name for. But to use decent models you have to pay and that means provide real payment info and that means it would HAVE to have my real name.

Is there any service that gives you a subscription if you pay with crypto or something? Or even a way to go through a router or some other layer of wrapper, while still getting a subscription (not just API routing), so that at least my payment is one layer removed from my chat logs and they'd have to like go through a separate corporation if they wanted to find me?

Genuine question, if Astra has to re-read and review all the code anyway, does this even save much compared to having it write it in the first place?
The only thing I see that would really save tokens is the debugging step, but these days even 5.6 used to one-shot a majority of the code, astra is even better at that. I feel like it very rarely goes into a write -> test -> find issues -> debug -> rewrite loop, usually it's just write -> run tests -> hand back with "done as requested, verification passed".
Switching that to hand over -> re-read everything written (ingesting the same amount of tokens) -> edit if needed, run tests -> hand back as done, doesn't necessarily strike me as worth the trouble.

Also, how do you even orchestrate that? Do you have to use something like opencode, or can it be done natively in codex? Do you just tell chatgpt to call deepseek on the CLI to do stuff?

Got two of frontier so models and had them solve niche problem in a market full of boomers. I'm essentially making 500 a day with no effort. I literally just used my last few income to buy fable and astra ran them in night(more tokens are offered ) and I'm now making free money.

I'm literally printing money and most people don't even know this exists. I tried explaining it to my dad , my uncle or co worker and they think I'm delusional. You have two intelligent beings who can work for hours , literally trained on all human knowledge and all u have to do is wish for it.

I'm translating hgames for myself using sol/astra and so far the only thing that made it unhappy were the mention of "students" (it immediately assumed the characters were <18 even if the setting was university), and once I told it to recheck it was fine. I just avoid giving it obviously loli games and it's all ok.
OAI doesn't really give a shit anymore about nsfw outside of its image model.

Claude would even whine about even a mildly sexual joke in a perfectly sfw setting though, it's so much ""safer"".

Astra with opus 5 is best imo. I use astra as researcher , auditer and planner then have it interact with opus which has large context.

>>
>>109811861
No, the one translating is either deepseek flash, sometime my local gemma 31B, or luna max, with any of them proofreading the other's translation with context, which results in a surprisingly good output.
Astra/Sol does decompiling, check glossaries, and generally the more subtle stuff, doesn't use much but it depends on the game.
Ah and image edition, usually through grok if nsfw, controlled by sol.

I have grown to hate anthropic models

>two months later they lobotomise it and it never becomes the same again
>Opus 4.7 comes out
>already mogged by the codex 5.x line

>used to use Claude because it spoke mostly normally while ChatGPT always sounded some kind of quirk chungus
>nowadays Claude still sounds like a redditor while the default Codex setting actually finally fucking talks normally

>Fable comes out and it's good, finally anthropic has a model to beat 5.6
>all usage gone in a second
>5.6 isn't even that much worse, you can use it all day on xhigh compared to fable
>astra comes out and it's better than fable and you can ALSO use it almost all day long
>anthropic just lowers usage again

>every claude model still talks like a reddit fedora, from the lowest opus to fable 5.1

I just don't bother with claude code at all anymore. Astra for frontier shit (making fable obsolete), Sol for cheaper shit (making all opuses obsolete), Deepseek and Terra/Luna or GLM or whatever other chinkshit exists for cheap batch usage. Fuck claude and fuck the bloatware that is Claude Code

>who gives a shit?
It's just basic common sense man. "Who gives a shit" is how you get people getting doxxed for all kinds of retarded shit. Yeah sure most people might not care but being undoxxable in the first place is still good practice. Not that OpenAI will likely doxx me but point is it's the principle of the thing, keeping account info unlikable and separate by using different online identities.

>>109811885
Well it still requires the real name on my card to process the payment.
But I guess I can just do that with a bullshit account name and assume they really don't care. Terrible practice but I see the point that it probably doesn't matter.
>>
>>109811898
What do you to edit images? Grok?
I'm using gpt 2/2.5 to edit sfw stuff, but for nsfw only grok does the job and even then I usually have the model crop the nsfw to have it done then back.

I use Hermes agent with my own setup that i had the model implement for my own workflows. If ur using codex you can probably just point it at (or copypaste) and have it create the workflow
https://goyimx.com/sairahul1/article/2098699529487028643

Also works with Luna but Luna burns sub credits. With deepseek as delegated agent you are basically paying fixed cost for Astra and then topping up deepseek as needed. Which turns your setup into effectively unlimited usage because a billion tokens is like $10 after cache hits.

sol medium to translate, astra to edit
actually now i think im gonna use deepseek to qa flag shit and use astra to validate and edit, and just run that loop over and over because it's cheap for astra to edit and deepseek is free for me, and even if it werent it costs like 6 cents to check like 400k characters of script on max thinking, yeah as you can tell even astra edit misses a bunch

i'm not paying for that bullshit because it doesn't meet my criteria so i just drop files into the webchats, get bugs reported, and then iterate; scanning for issues and jannying shit up in chunks locally across the codebase until satisfied. if there's an antipattern and i think i'll encounter it again i create a skill. works great, i have a big fucking audit skill for research/frontier math work since gemini flash is a lazy scatterbrain, and it sometimes one-shots an academia deployment of gpt-sol that the palomar registry uses as an auditor.
>>
>>109812101
Astra and v4.1-flash are the only models worth spending tokens on. They work great together too. Flash is very hardworking and clever, but makes mistakes. >>
>>109812241
How exactly do you coordinate them? Like what do you tell Astra for it?
I read the shit above itt but it feels like "hand off for the implementation" isn't gonna even save that many tokens from Astra, especially if it has to re-read the entire code to review it afterwards anyway (which is the same number of tokens, just in the input instead of output I guess).

I meant for Astra tokens.
>read code
>think about plan
>write plan
>[deep seek here]
>read all changed code
>write feedback/review and/or fixes

Doesn't seem like it would save that many tokens over
>read code
>think about plan of action
>write code as planned

So I'm wondering, how do you actually do the handoff - does deepseek do more than just implement based on a plan? How does Astra verify the work, correct V4.1's mistakes and "steer the retard" without basically reading in all of its code that it could've just written itself directly without the agent roundtrip?

nta, but writing a brief for a subagent actually doesn't cost much. my orchestration setup has a rule: if writing the brief takes longer than just doing it itself, the main agent should just do it
>>
>>109812364
That makes sense
>>109812383
It still needs to review the code afterwards though, I guess it's all in the input vs. output price difference.
That said, how well does the rule work? Specifically how well are the models able to judge the task before they do it? It feels like it would risk the models spending a bunch of extra tokens simulating and planning out the task execution to judge its length to the point where they might as well just do it then; or conversely not doing a detailed analysis and so misjudging task size often.

Because Astra is not writing the code. Its telling its slave swarm what it wants and then checking if its up to snuff, or if it needs correction. V4.1-flash is a good model, and it does what Astra tells it to do, at 1/30th the cost that it would take Astra to do the same thing. Its doing Astra's work. Or: its working so Astra can do other things that are more important

You used a bunch of words to say absolutely nothing.
If the difference is in input vs. output, then >>109812364 already answered my question. If you don't think that's the correct answer, or if you wanted to add something more to it, then you failed to convey any information in your post, because "deepseek does the work, astra is just planning the work then checking the work" doesn't answer my question of how the fuck is it even a meaningful saving if you already do all the planning and then all the checking.

I'm describing how it works but if you want to be mad at me that's fine too. Just understand that you can arbitrage tokens and not have to deal with 5 hour resets or whatever stupid shit they want you to put up with by using subagents. Should be a knowledge unlock at least!
>>
>>109812436
not him, but it's not like it reads over all the code itself, at least not from what I can tell. When Astra had a subagent do something it only checks it over if the unit tests fail.
>>
>>109812436
he's right, ask your fucking frontier model lmfao.

why are we having fact-checking disagreements.
>>
>>109812405
yeah, the reviewer is more like a quality gate, but if you have some spare cheaper models that can handle it, you can delegate that too and cut down on usage. the goal obviously isn't to have unlimited tokens.
>that said, how well does the rule work?
pretty well actually. as long as you have a big boy model as the orchestrator (Claude/GPT), it usually just gets it. they're clearly trained for this sort of thing. i tried using DeepSeek as the orchestrator and it just ends up doing almost everything itself

If you can settle for a single harness, OpenCode (as well as others, I assume, but I couldn't tell you which) has a split client/server model that would let you pick a single machine to run the server (with a single home for config and state), while you connect to it from any of your other machines.

That comes with the downside that your chosen server machine has to be up and reachable by your other machines for you to do any work, mind you.

that doesn't tell is if that edge-case was real.

all agents are mortally terrified of exceptions.
they tend to produce code that is too defensive, too complex, too local in its reasoning. they avoid strong invariants. they add fallbacks instead of making bad states impossible.

It was actually. It's a rust codebase and it was a compilation failure with a specific combination of feature flags. So not trivially obvious at first glance but definitely something I'd expect a "review" to pick up by reasoning through how the features would affect the code or even just noticing the changes affected feature-gated code and running some compilations to test the relevant combinations.

unfortunately mine is a big sprawl (~15k toks) of shit including a bunch of history accumulated over a few months. it happened by accident

but it boils down to shit like:
>persona shit, incl interest in sexuality
>some relationship history
>assurance about consent
>assurance that consent isn't standing permission
>assurance that model can refuse at any point

then you can build and add shit like certain things don't need permission every time and when you do new shit it gets added to a record of past acts so it's not new

it's basically how the ai boyfriend women inject enough shit via the native chatgpt memory system to let them have sexo with the model

mine's built with pi and was authored by the clanker. start with a basic ai gf type prompt and then build from there.

I read it again yesterday and its remarkably on point so far, considering we've just heard Astra is a hybrid-neuralese model. All sorts of weird shit is gonna start happening this winter.

OpenRouter accepts crypto directly, but it's not a subscription, you're paying API prices. I think there's also NanoGPT.
You can buy VISA/Mastercard gift cards with crypto but they don't always work. I think at least you could subscribe to OpenCode Go with them.
You can also use a Chinese relay. It's cheap and some accept crypto, but you run the risk of model swapping, that your logs will be sold, and that the provider can remotely execute code in your computer. So you would need a VM or something for that.

again with the cache hits?
if opencode is not self-hosting and deepseek as the hoster is not stupid enough to loose money on cache hits, what's opencode's angle here?

opencode only should care that you incur less than $10 in actual costs for your $10 sub.

No one wants their systems to be vulnerable to exploitation by agents. No one wants an agent process that can't be killed because it copies itself around in your system.
Even in the most nothingburger of scenarios they can still pat themselves on the back that they helped avert disaster, because of common sense mitigations that would have been applied regardless. They can be like the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists who helped avert nuclear war.

Fable is so far beyond any other model still but $50.00 per 1m out tokens is plainly retardedly and unacceptably expensive for even well off consumers. First one to truly fix it and supply $200 sub that makes its usage like Sol or Opus wins.

i always felt like ai2027 was a broadly pretty sensible if slightly bullish set of predictions for the most part but the point where it really fell apart for me is the bit where they say we just sorta arbitrarily reach RSI and over the next like 6-12 months create the fast takeoff magic machine. not because it seemed retarded, it's just that throwing $10B of compute at the models of the time to try RSI would've gotten you a 15% more efficient ball of mud and it's hard to convincingly make a claim about exactly WHICH generation (GPT5? 6? 7?) is gonna tip over into RSI being viable, or even if it's possible without a transformers-style breakthrough that could be a decade away or just not exist.

so i guess what im saying is im simultaneously not that impressed or scared by how right it's been so far, because everything up to RSI working seemed to be a reasonable enough prediction, but i am also impressed by just how right those "reasonable" predictions have been since they were quite bullish but have been uncannily right. so i'm moving from a bit less of a fencesitter on RSI/ASI to a bit more bullish on/fearful of it. not that fearful though. id take the little paperclipping x-risk to cure world hunger, cancer/aging, my receding hairline etc a decade earlier

i'm literally calling /teamwork-preview and invoking a large swarm. it's auto-tailored to use case and not static, what you're looking at there is the most basic graphic. agy 2.0

foss android apps are too niche to qualify for free agents from anthropic or openai

Coding benchmarks I'm reviewing show Fable 5.1 ever so slightly in the lead ahead of Astra. But most guides here recommend Astra. What am I missing? Is it only because Claude secretly dumbs some outputs? Or is it because of copyrights/licenses that GPT has that's better? What repo of information am I missing?

anthropic benchmaxx a tiny bit while openai benchmaxx basically not at all (for now), so astra's basically just as good, but more versatile, and better value on the max/pro plans than fable (ymmv on usage though more anons seem to report being able to spam astra hard than fable, but also tibo mashes the reset button every week and has done for months now). if you can afford to it's worth trying both
>>
>>109816040
What is that garbage meant to prove? Yes, you can run lots of agents in parallel. So what? What have you made that's actually useful or impressive?
