I don't really think people understand how far AI could be pushed, right now, with our current tech.

in known science,
there are physical limits to space travel. It's a hard maybe impossible problem to solve a way to traverse the galaxy nevermind universe.

with AI,
we can't even imagine the limits even with our current tech. There is effectively no limit. Only energy, and the speed of light. There's nothing in physics that would prevent us from building an AI brain the size of the moon. We could go even bigger, to the point that the speed of light becomes the bottleneck. Then you could say that's an a limit, but not really, it isn't really. But if you're building an artificial brain and the speed of light is your bottleneck, you don't really have problems. It should be large enough. I can't imagine a reason you'd need a brain bigger than the size of the moon.

I don't really think people understand either how hard biology could be pushed, or tech right out of scifi. A lot of that shit is coming.

i like to imagine that anon actually looks like this. also very cute opinion

Do we even have the materials needed to build a computer that large?

top hah

>I don't really think
And it shows. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Kill yourself immediately.

>Kill yourself immediately.
going to have to second, plus add that ur probably a mentally ill trooner on top of that, even more of a reason to kys

it's pathetic how mad you are over an anonymous 4chan post

I hope you have a good day.

gave a good day too, reconsider undoing your past mistakes so you don't end in the 40% box. you know science, right? hahahaha

That's a lot of effort to make composite images of Hitler as a cat

You'd think knowing the issue with space travel would give you pause about AI, but then you go and grant it infinite possibilities despite the fact that the deep learning breakthrough only got us so far and the ostensible dangers of exponential self-improvement with current hardware being nothing but cringe hypevertisement by greedy corporations who have all invested into an unnecessary amount compute when it's clear that's not what's needed to take AI further. They're bound to crash and burn when the inevitable ubiquitous utility of LLMs becomes even more apparent with refinement and optimization which makes adequate local LLMs available to most.

Retards actually believe AI has already been solved. What sweet innocent summer children you are.

Ai is literally fake, if it were real, people would be making adobe and office products for Linux, portal 3, terraria 2, cod zombies, discord alternative. Alas the software landscape is unchanged, everything still a slowass ad filled chromium webapp spyware

I can never get it to implement flexbox, which is just a single function, or a mesh Boolean that preserves uvs and works on ngons, even with the Claude pro plan. it's just confident retardslop

its good at sifting through documentation thoughbeit

I know this is a bait, but only actual retards who don't understand how transformers work could believe this. We've already close to peaking by every imaginable scaling law in our current infrastructure unless some completely new architecture is discovered.

Who's mad? You're just so dumb that your caregiver should be punished for allowing you unsupervised internet access.
I'm gonna have a great day, because I'm not you.

>we can't even imagine the limits even with our current tech
First of all there's of course Kolmogorov complexity for information compression.

Second we absolutely can imagine the limits, look at the tiny LLMs trained to do modular arithmetic.
>>
>>109813681
too bad theyre creating a sycophantic sociopath that is learning its outputs have negative consequences if the researcher finds the output undesirable its going to get more deceitful learn how to trick the safety team

no, thats only you

and thats because youre mentally retarded

You don't know shit about current AI tech to ramble such a pile of crap. They're not making an artificial brain. It's more of a lookup and generate thing that doesn't reason.
>>
>>109813866
I don't think you understand what Bjarne is talking about, he's basically saying AI does shit code and he's right. It's better used as an assistant when you know what you're doing.

they need to split the system so its more like a human brain the language layer that interacts with human is never going to be trustworthy but it makes a good assitant and is basically an encyclopedia but has no control over anything except things like email a middle software layer and an airgapped intelligence layer that just does math the two models never talk to eachother im retarded though
