so it was that shrimple huh

I was interested in it initially because of faggot claiming it's a racist OS but then I saw on the website that it talks about leveraging AI agents and I lost all interest.

How many ads per day, kike?
>>
How?
It's just arch with preinstalled garbage most people don't use and a twm.
I don't even understand how it becomes "usable" to windows users.
>>
I hope fixes from Omarchy make it upstream considering the Godless amount of money thrown at that project, but on itself it's a load of bullshit. Also, consider the following AI vibeslop:
>2.1k issues
>2.6k pull requests
They won't be able to handle any of this.

isn't most of that money in "ai tokens"
might as well pay robux at that point if we're going the imaginary money route
>>
>>109847284
what does that thing actually do?

i've been using gentoo for a... long ass time at this point, and i have no idea about this distros shit. what do distros even have except more packages in their package manger? (and the lack of ability to patch my shit automatically)
>>
>>109847668
From what I read I thought it was some rich guys pledging money personally along with the tokem stuff but I may be wrong. If its ai tokens its a nothingburger

its just pre-riced arch with some extra mirrors with a cadence offset
>>
>>109847874
This is exactly what it feels like. I don't like tiling window managers, and I don't want to use arch, so I have zero interest in this, and neither do most people. It's just the popular thing now.
>>
>>109847668

also how the fuck is riced arch an os for agentic era?

gentoo is the os for agentic era - you can just tell your house clanker to patch software the way you want and write ebuilds for you. don't even need to patch shit yourself anymore.

sources-based distro is THE distro for agentic era.

CRUX >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> gentrio

This has always been the case. Before ecelebs and gamers linux was funded by companies like cannonical and red hat, who have had a usable product since at least 2009 (that's not to say it hasn't come a long way since).

DHH has attracted a ton of investment, which is fantastic, but it's kind of hilarious to think that if the incumbent distro devs had any personality, professional connections, etc they could have attracted a lot of investment for themselves over the years. I saw a mental outlaw vid saying linux mint only has 8k in donations so far this year (LOL).
>>
>>109848101

has barely any packages. you sound like a larper.
>>
>>109847504
Not having an arcane installation process has always been the main barrier against Arch and there's several options for that now, CachyOS alone pretty much renders mainline Arch pointless to install since Cachy is just Arch with an installer and a lot of basic OS stuff preinstalled.
>>
>>109848061
>how the fuck is riced arch an os for agentic era?
I think it ships an AGENTS.md explaining what is installed and where the configs are, lol

so it's an os for the last year's ai. i see.

Archinstall is seamless nowadays. Also, endeavorOS has existed for over a decade by now, I guess they lack the marketing budget.
>>

There was no indication Archinstall even existed when I bounced off of installing Arch, pretty typical Linux "huh??? you DIDN'T KNOW about this EASY TOOL buried in the REPOSITORY???" stuff

Does it not tell you to use archinstall on the live image's first boot? Alpine linux tells you to use their helper scripts as soon as it boots up, arch should follow suit.
>>
>>109848457
Arch doesn't tell you shit, they want you doing a bare-metal install with their guide
