Man, I finaly went down the VR rabbithole because a coworker mentioned they can passthrough so you still just see your room but with floating monitors and it sounded pretty cool and maybe nice to have once I get a mac studio as my LLM host box and a laptop for the LLMs to run wild in, plus maybe I could vibecode some games for it. Unfortunately its an overpriced meme tech that apparently doesn't work on mac or linux and cant display monitors for multiple computers and the guys making the monitor display program are selling their own scam version of the headset that hasn't been released in years. Mess of a technology. (Also for some reason it seems disproportionately popular with the blacks lol)

Disappointing but I rather live in this world where VR turned into a failed meme and AI is the real deal rather than vis versa so whatever.
