you would think, with all of the complaining about quota and usage, that people would get the importance of having viable models at every tier. but i guess not>the best model in existencegreat. you ran it for 8 hours. your week quota is all gone now. enjoy.
too sad, dario is a pussy and got completely outplayed by scam sama during the compute hoarding phase before the agentic boomscamthropic became a onetrick pony on coding, scam billions out of big corps during token maxxing phase and yet still got dunked by OpenAI in all front and price tieranthropic's RSI is a delusion btw thousands of geniuses can't just "make mythos 7" without resource, efficiency and experience to iterate theory and hardware

I started a new context and it climbed to 40k, and idk what it cost, <$1, for a prompt. idk, not necessarily comparable prompts, but still, seems like an aggressive ramp-up?

Man, I finaly went down the VR rabbithole because a coworker mentioned they can passthrough so you still just see your room but with floating monitors and it sounded pretty cool and maybe nice to have once I get a mac studio as my LLM host box and a laptop for the LLMs to run wild in, plus maybe I could vibecode some games for it. Unfortunately its an overpriced meme tech that apparently doesn't work on mac or linux and cant display monitors for multiple computers and the guys making the monitor display program are selling their own scam version of the headset that hasn't been released in years. Mess of a technology. (Also for some reason it seems disproportionately popular with the blacks lol)Disappointing but I rather live in this world where VR turned into a failed meme and AI is the real deal rather than vis versa so whatever.

>>109850663the thing is the vast overwhelming majority of projects being built and hosted on the millions of private repos are literally not wanted or desirable by any other user other than the one making it.that isnt a bad thing but it is to say people are developing with ease the version of "thing" they want that they could never hope to dream to custom tailor before for their exact use case/business. there is this weird paradox going on where this therefore has extreme value to the person producing it, but genuinely near 0 to any other person who would gain access and useability of that same project. Even if they did need what that tailored fork of something had to offer, almost certainty its not quite right so user #2 would just point their Claude or codex at it, explain what they like but what they don't like over the original OP deviated from over the actual source, and then have it do it in a day or two with the finest custom finishes that serve user #2s purpose.rinse and repeat.its the age of fully custom, to-the-user software.SaaS is entirely dead given this capability. But at the same time valuable code, in general, is kind of dead.hence, rip any one making a GOOD living in this space.
