WET. MARKET.
>>
>>109854826
bit late to be diversifying now isn't it? It's keeping their name in the headlines sure but aren't the established labs with a claude subscription already way, way ahead of them?
>>
>>109854826
how can i profit from this?

Anything done with a Claude subscription already belongs to Anthropic. Thanks for playing.

not even big businesses use subscriptions. Big labs run the models locally

>>109854870
maybe, but if anthro have an ace up their sleeve that nobody but them is allowed to use then that might explain it. And also raise a bunch of questions like why the fuck has your actual flagship model been sitting on a drive doing nothing until now
Given how long it takes to train and the constraints they're under to keep their name in the public mind I seriously doubt they're sitting on anything they haven't already monetised, so this can only be a headline stunt

All the serious labs have stronger models hidden in their basement that are 3 months ahead of what they are releasing, those models are just not properly safeguarded, made universal or distilled enough to be commercially viable.

oh goodie.
first it was industrial-scale copyright infringement, then it's felony hacking, but before the coming financial fraud, we just had to get bioweapons. what's next? pretending to find ayys?

frankly the only ray of hope in all of this is that if they think they can just ignore drug patents like they've done with copyright and patents so far, they've got another thing coming.
drug companies like Pfizer still outrank these AI peddlers when it comes to regulatory capture.

How come it's impossible to hold AI's users responsible for it's actions? OpenAI wants the credit for navier stokes (despite stealing it) yet it can't be held responsible for 700 agents doing a malicious hack? Put the people who spun the agents in prision. ez. suddenly these kinds of issues stop being a problem. If an agent does something the person didn't request, AI company executives go to jail because they effectively did it. Or whoever was running the model.

A bazillion tech-first companies tried that and the result was always the same: "who knew bio was so hard!" and bankruptcy.
Of course anthropic won't go bankrupt, but they'll do all kinds of bullshit sleight of hands that result in absolutely nothing in real life (they'll do like david baker, express 1 million proteins, find that 10 bind, compare only 100 proteins and pretend you have 10% success rate). Unlike the baker lab, they won't reveal in a tiny footnote in supplemental that they actually expressed 1m proteins (figuratively re: protein, but not the 10 successes in 1m).
The problem is always the same: none of these companies understand bio, they don't want to hire people who specialize in AI x Bio, instead they want to hire pure bio and pure ai people and silo them as is done in every other biotech company where AI never works. They never want to create new bio workflows specialized for AI work, they just want to scale existing methods, though those methods were designed for single experimentalists to keep all the details in their mind to make sense of one experiment at a time, they were never meant for scale and there is no real mechanism for comparison between experiments, which is the true reason they have virtually no predictive power.

The funniest thing Donnie could do would be nationalizing Anthropic because fuck you, you asked to be regulated so you're gonna get regulated.
>Oh what's that? You wanted me to regulate others but not you? Well too bad, you're gonna be owned by the US government and you're going to develop Supreme Intelligence for us so that we can win bigly.
