Linux Mint. Been using it for over a decade nonstop, multiple desktops and laptops. And I've played around with other distros as well obviously, but the best bet is just stock Mint with the Cinnamon Desktop Environment. It ships perfect, just switch Firefox to your favorite flavor of chromium
