>>109855409No.

>>109855409Windows 10+WSLOmarchy :^)

Slackware with Hyprland + DankMaterialShell
>>109855556Breeze is the ugliest default theme any operating system has ever shipped. I wish they would just use the upstream Qt6 default of Fusion.
>>109855409Linux mint, I prefer cinnamon but xfce is fine too
>>109855409Distros don't look ugly, DEs do, you faggot. But no, there are no good DEs either.
>>109855488This. Use windows if you are too retarded to set up linux
>>109856548spending hours ricing is not normal anon unless you're a neet, actually even if you're a neet you have better things to do with your time.

Debian with Cinnamon
>>109855409>doesn't look ugly? There are no modern operating systems that look attractive out of the box.
>>109857207Post beef.
>>109855409Haiku OS distro
Linux Mint. Been using it for over a decade nonstop, multiple desktops and laptops. And I've played around with other distros as well obviously, but the best bet is just stock Mint with the Cinnamon Desktop Environment. It ships perfect, just switch Firefox to your favorite flavor of chromium
>>109856474unironically this, I'm using it right now and shit just works
>>109861083>Doesn't work with HDR monitors>It ships perfect>Doesn't work with VRR monitors>It ships perfect>Doesn't work with HiDPI monitors>It ships perfect>Ugly as fuck and all the transparency extensions are broken>It ships perfect

>>109861126okay GAYland shill, mint is bringing it december of this year. not that anybody actually uses that garbage, but start brainstorming more FUD because your gig is running up
>>109855409Mint is the only one that does it for me. I hate "modern" minimalist low contrast distros.

is deno and the freshest version of yt-dlp on the debian repos?
>>1098624992026.08.19 is on testing. 2025.04.30 on stable. I can't see deno listed as a package on debian. Googling it there is an unofficial repo

I just can't do it, KDE is so fucking trash.I guess I'll forever stay a Windows baby duck.
>>109866588no Im completely sincere. there's a reason cope like appimage, flatpak and snaps were invented.heavily customized programs diverging from upstream and backports are also just bad.t. on linux for 14 years
>>109866740I guess I don't have any problems with it because I don't do anything too complicated in the first place. It's just a desktop for me. I use it for web browsing, word processing, watching youtube and playing vidya.
>>109861126Why the fuck would you want HDR as an end user for the desktop? I can see needing one if you do professional work in some sort of post production.

>>109861389>mint is bringing it december of this yearMint isn't even implementing any of the Wayland features anyone actually cares about: the Cinnamon Wayland session is just going to have feature parity with the current X11 session and nothing more.
>>109856474cinnamon i always thought looked and felt pretty good out of the box
