that's retarded. even mundane tasks need to be manually reviewed by an experienced human. there is no prompt that satisfies the machine constraints enough to codify the business logic, and every LLM must be hand held like a toddler with expert syntax control. this whole AI will take over coding only works because the expert coders are hand holding it through the work, and the moment companies try to java-ize it to bring in new "developers" (retard business majors) is the moment the whole western technology ecosystem falls apart.

I think they're too young to remember how the programming industry already went through this process when compilers came into existence.Half of what they're saying is a shot in the dark because they don't understand the function and limitations of the underlying infrastructure.The part they're dead on about is the shift in focus from 'what is the best way we can write xyz code' towards 'what code do we need AI to generate to solve xyz problem.'Overall, it was nice to read someone else's thoughts on how they want to use AI in the future.

Now imagine this while vibe coding afer some 3000 lines of code was written. Something inside glitches and it's nobodys fault. Now you spend 50 million tokens on a problem that can't be fixed because there is no real error in the code. No automated coding of serious applications in the foreseeable future I'm telling you.
