since 4chins hasn't really changed in client side rendering complexity (if you turn off the stock extension at least) the minimum requirement for posting on 4chan is the minimum requirement for serving the captchas

Few years ago you could easily still post from a Win98 machine with 200MHz and 64MB of RAM. Before the new CAPTCHA, even an SSL proxy still worked. If you use a render proxy you still can.

>>109885290Currently posting from a Pentium 4 3.00 GHz with 2GB RAM running windows XP. My browser (NewMoon) has builds available for SSE1 and IA32. So it should be able to run on even Pentium MMX machines, provided they have enough RAM. However, Cloudflare poses an issue since it will time out if your CPU isn't fast enough to solve it in a timely manner. My P4 barely manages it, and it temporarily hangs the browser while running the captcha.

>>109885290There are Linux distros that will boot on as old as MMX Pentiums. The kernel only recently dropped 486 support. Something like Arch32 or TinyCore could run on, and could definitely run on a P3. And from there you could compile Palemoon for SSE1 and solve captchas with it.
