I've built apps for myself in like thirty minutes.

>>109886804Because the bug follows the same bureaucracy, it first needs a bunch of reports, often times left in the dirt, or if we're lucky it gets put onto a list of prioritized bugs where it then needs to be reproduced and then fixed, then the fix needs to be tested, etc.If the fix only affects 5% of users and doesn't stop them from using the app, corporate doesn't give a fuck.I've been using Reddit for nearly a decade now and that shit hole app and site still doesn't have a web player that actually works, but it also hasn't been crippling enough to make me stop using it, meanwhile platforms like Instagram have flawless video playback.It's probably all about priorities to be honest.

ChatGPT desktop app takes 30 seconds to load and consumes 1GB of RAM.In that time my SSD can read +100GB of data.Until it takes less than a second they clearly have just a liquid diarrhea spewer and not anything seriously productive.
