The synaptics driver for X was so good and had many settings. Then the dev got the ebussy mind virus and wrote the libinput driver without settings and it SUCKS.

I've been using Debian KDE for a week now and it's glorious. There's so much peace and quiet from not being pestered with updates, and apart from the (default) kernel there isn't anything that's substantively outdated compared to the latest Fedora KDE. I honestly think Linux is 90% a solved problem now, and the fact that Debian isn't dog shit proves it.
