I like it. For a long time I've been playing with the idea of making a fallout type game where the places and quests are dynamically generated like that. A quest might be generated because the growth of a village is being suppressed by monsters nearby or whatever. Anon I don't think you're getting what I'm saying at all.
There is no place for also-ran timekeeping app. All the space is already taken and if by some miracle you get some traction you'll be crowded out by the established players bidding on your app name.
I bought an ipad recently and wanted a note-taking app for handwritten notes. Searching on the app store there were dozens. Searching online there were like three names with non-zero name recognition. One is some VC funded slop, and two are made by a single author. Both were around for 5+ years, and had a fair amount of features, involving some real funky stuff like "record audio while taking notes you can play back later, great for lectures" or featuring a small built-in AI model that let you search for text in your handwriting. Point is, they were much more full-featured than a basic timekeeping app, and were well optimized because battery life.
The dozens of others had zero traction and will never get any traction because there just isn't any space for them, it's a solved problem, it's done. You're throwing money into the void.

You should probably spend some time researching how an app store works in current_year before trying to make money off of it.
