I mostly stopped using programming/api reference manuals because it would take 5 minutes to find what i was looking for and it would be poorly written and terse and unclear or ambiguous, and with ai it would tell me immediately what i needed to know in detail and give me like 5 clear and very specific examples of how to use it. Huge timesaver. Even in the cases where it got stuff wrong and hallucinated and made some shit up, it still mostly got things right enough to be useful and a better experience than digging through shitty poorly written programming manuals
