If it really was $1000 I would actually consider it. I have had apple devices for work for a while now. They're absolutely terrible, complete garbage and I would do a lot to stay away from them. However, the entire non-mac world has become chinkshit, including thinkpads and business-class laptops in general, while retailing at nothing less than $2000 for anything even remotely decent.Unfortunately for you OP, they're actually more like $3000 and they perform as well as the average $700 chinktop.
