>problems with my ui in my personal project>happy to deal with 99% of other issues myself but CSS I fucking hate>end up just copy and pasting chunks of code to chatgpt and telling it what its doing wrong>it does actually eventually manage to fix all the issues and get the desired behaviour I wantI detest vibe coding, but honestly CSS I hate more than enough to let AI do this shit and never have to touch this garbage again.
>>109932603There really has got to be a better way to do UI than this too. Literally I've been in the industry close to 10 years now predominately back end but done UI on numerous jobs and whilst I can make a UI work I never felt like I truly grasped CSS and 90% of the training for CSS just teaches you the basics never the arcane shit to deal with the issues I seem to run into.In short my issue was:> have image viewer in my page>need to scale images so they stay within 100vh>also need a button to unscale the images and fill max width / height with scrolling>when doing this the action bar above gets stuck at w-full not going beyond>things not overflowing correctly>title bar doesn't fit rightIt's just pure pain. Like I'm sure if you do this day in day out building stuff it would be second nature but I still don't understand the nuance of what 90% of CSS does like does anyone ever actually comprehensively learn it, because it feels like everyone just graps the basics and that's enough for 90% of stuff.
damn we all got fired huh?

Should I try Svelte instead of React? Svelte is meant to be faster so maybe it's worth trying
>>109936608why not? might as well
>>109936813I might look at it if I can be botheredI tend to just use React because I'm used to it
>>109936910another option then is to look at that reack Ssr thingie, next?
>>109936608I tried svelte for 2 weeks and really hated it compared to angular
>>109937904nta, used angular for a learning project and was okish, what made svelte uncomfy?
>>109938140I couldn't just set class or other attributes when using a custom component, which just works in angular, and the way they reinvented for loop syntax.
