How would we have a reverse Chinese firewall that just isolated specific countries? Would it just be as simple as having regional blacklists to filter a large chunk of them or would most of them use VPNs to bypass it if it became popular? Accounts? Would it be possible to make it so streamlined that idiots and boomers would be able to use it without issue? What would the consequences be, would this system lock users out of any useful information?

vpns would be the tricky thing to stop probably make the internet small and local so most people outside your town/county don't care and it'd be easier to enforce against or at least more expensive for people to get vpns onyou could make it act just like the normal internet or perhaps a special tld. I've considered it but it's impossible to get anyone to care and at this point i think any internet is mostly bad not just a global internet. if people just went outside more often and talked to each other you'd solve 90% of the problems
