What if you 3d printed an adapter that allowed you to mount a projector to a ceiling fan where the light normally goes.
You could power the projector with the light circuit, which has a switch on it. So you now have a pull-string projector.
Obviously, your electrical box will need to be mounted properly and the fan has to either be off or balanced well.
Video could be either transferred wirelessly, with USB, or a cable with the supporting device directly below the unit. (or attached if small)
This would allow a lot of living room installations.

Projectors suck during the day.

Yes it would work if the fan is mounted properly/ firm enough for a mid-size projector to add in on weight.
As for the takers, I don't think you'd make that much as a fan is usually mounted in the center of a room, this alone reduces the screen real-estate by a half.
Then, there's the ports issue.
Wifi is fine but fucks with image quality, you would need to pull cables through the roof... shit can go sideways and it's additional work.

>What if mount a projector to a ceiling fan
anon I don't think the projected picture is going to be very good when the fan is going. those fans really swing around and I'm guessing you've never had to set the keystone or focus on a projector. give it a try but expect it to be less good than setting up the projector normally when you need it
>>
but what if it spun when you turned it on? that'd be cool

Celing mounts for projectors have been around for 40 years. Are you 12?

I don't have a ceiling fan

You should be grinding and making big moves. Work more hours if you don't have any good ideas. Don't fill out free time with gaymen/goymen.

This looks like it is his great idea. He should patent and sell it. I'd buy one.
