the thinkpad of controllers
>>
>>109935498
Not even Hall effect. Lame.
>>
>>109935511
you can mod those in
>>
>>109935498
Thinkpads break every year?

>>109935516
but you can't mod in shoulder buttons that don't break, or a USB port that doesn't break (and a total bitch to replace).

had to grab so many replacement parts for this controller that I got fed up and got a gulikit the last time it had problems.
>>
>>109935498
worse than the xbone one in every way.
>>
>>109935498
the dpad on xbox has always been the worst part of it, nintendo and sony did it way better.
>>
>>109935565
nintendo dpads suck. too mushy.
>>
>>109935565
and sony don't even have a dpad

yes and?
>>

lol
i think you meant to post the steam controller (2026)

>bad stick layout
>meme trackpads
>gryo which wastes battery
>no removable battery
hard pass
>>
>>109935615
copie, and nice dogshit sticks on that gaybox controller too. The only thing worse in the nintoddler controller
>>
>>109935624
at least you can mod in better sticks giving you the best of both
>>
>>109935498
No nipple, not a Thinkpad.
>>
>>109935498
that dpad is how I can tell the users just buy madden and halo every iteration

>>109935573
mush and proper sizing is important for rocking from side to side, much better than button dpads
>>
>>109935516
Or I could just get something better *and* cheaper.
>>
>>109935498
It's the only controller I've ever owned that's broken.
>>
>>109935721
do those controllers have a swap-able battery?
>>
>>109935721
Like what? I've tried gamesaar and stuff and it's just not as good
>>
its crazy how the industry has settled on this controller, surely we can have a better design with more precise joystick and multiple customizable buttons
>>
A "thinkpad of controllers" doesn't exist.
>>
>>109935997
There are controllers with remappable paddles on the back or that swap positions of the stick and button cluster but games are now built for this mostly standardized controller layout, which means controllers are made for the games that support the controllers in a reinforcement loop. Breaking it in either direction would need something on the level of a console release that has both a new controller design and games that make very good use of it. The era of buying a new fancy peripheral for a single game seems mostly over.

i hate it when games have quick action events and i use xbox controller. i find it more comfortable than sony and better in general but i just can't get used to the button names/colors after so many years spent with ps

These things last 6-12 months.
I don't think there is a single company making good controllers now that last.
>8BitDo
No, their sticks start to fall to bits after a time.
>>
>>109936585
Yeah, it's crazy, for the 360 two controllers lasted me 15 years (only had to change the membranes regularly).

I've switched to a Gulikit now, dunno how long will it last, but it has hall effect analogs and the shoulder buttons use a very solid design.
The USB connector is still really fucking flimsy though, maybe I'll actually consider using it wireless since it's supposed to have no lag on wireless oh wait haha the dongle costs $20 extra. nevermind...

>digital triggers
fuck off retard
