Im beginning to think China wont actually enter into the consumer market for computer components, any more
>>
>>109936259
Why would they? Right now they can milk america's self-defeating ML craze.
>>
china is collapsing soon
>>
>>109936259
yeah we been scammed they gonna save us with cheap RAM and GPUs. they're not so different after all
we're on our own bros, we need to figure out how to make our own gaming GPUs
>>
>>109937009
Just 2 more weeks
>>
>>109937009
2 more time units
>>
>>109936259
Yeah, at this point it's not happening. Ever.
If they really wanted to tap into that particular market we would have seen cheap GPUs and RAM popping up on Aliexpress by now. China like everyone every other nation is all in on the AI arms race.

Tired of sitting around hoping someone is going to save us. It's over. It's crazy how I lived long enough to see the beginning and the death of affordable PC hardware owernership in my lifetime.

They will what people get wrong is the timing, it will be after the bubble pops, why the fuck would they drive down prices now when they can use the mania to stock up on cash for the next 20 years of R&D?

>Any day now guys the bubble is going to poo and everything will go back to normal! Yep, annnny min now....
>>
>>109937186
It will. Maybe you're not old enough to remember but I certainly remember all the
>it's housing it'll never crash
bullshit pre 2007. This is no different, if anything it's even more retarded than the last two times. Just don't waste your cash betting on the timing. Markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay liquid, yada yada.
>>
>>109937200
Are you prepared for when it doesn't?
The Ai "bubble" is like the housing/property bubble- it's never going to actually pop bc they simply aren't going to allow it to happen
>>
>>109937178
>after the bubble pops
glad I didn't get on this train. imagine the weapons grade copium that's needed to keep on riding it
>>
>>109937237
AI isn't getting any better, it's just getting integrated with tools and uses more brute force
>>
>>109937254
>AI isn't getting any better
>it just gets better
I now get more use out of it than I got two years ago. it's objectively better. don't care by what means.
