What do you if you accidentally delete a shared folder, say you type then
sudo rm -rf 
and it wipe everything in the folder, recursive, is it the end of the world?

as long as there are no new files overwriting the blocks where the previous files reside in, then it's plausible
because deleted files are not actually zeroed from the disk
