I want to use Rust for making my own tools like nmap, hashcat. And i was asking is Rust as a coding language good for that kind of stuff. I already know C but want to try something new.

I'm guessing in practice your selection of specific libraries and tooling is not as expansive since most pentesting is basically just running a series of script kiddie shit. look at stuff like nmap, it's basically a collection of lua shits for a reason. no one has time to write out quality clients to test vulns.
