6.1 sol is bigly if it is indeed as good as they're claiming. i'm bullish on oai. think about it. anthropics last big pretrain was eons ago and resulted in the mythos/fable class models, then they got too cocky and did these little updates to opus instead of immediately distilling from mythos, causing oai to eat their lunch on the mid to low tier models, until after months of humiliation led them to release opus 5.5 (a direct result their mythos pretrain). now oai has a real response to a mythos class models with their huge pretrain of bel. they were getting cocky with astra already, but dario jumped the gun to mog them with 5.5, putting them in panic mode instead of letting them burn themselves slowly with 5.6 refreshers like anthropic's had done. instead of enjoying model superiority for months, they now have to prepare for the next wave of opus and fable rapers one after another and the only way to respond is with another huge pretrain. checkmate, dario.
