imagine trying to contribute to a shitty platform that is getting shittier, half of the comments on big videos are either AI generated/spam/bots trying to scam you or written by *normies*.
Videos are either from big youtubers trying to make money from sponsors every video so they can make a living without caring about anything else, and other 40% is AI generated, the last 10% is old videos, content creators that do not have sponsors &/ those who still have some passion left.

...honestly, no offense to anybody using YouTube but *I* would rather not use a shit platform managed by a shit company following their shit path. Google fucking sucks, and It's gonna get worse.

unfortunately i think that in the future open source frontends won't be an easy option &/ AdBlocks on YouTube won't function like they do even now (You better believe that using AdBlockers on Google Chrome won't work on YouTube if you don't have premium).

YouTube is user-generated content btw.
