>>109949754i love sharp corners. why do they hate them so much.
UI designers are paid to destroy working software products.
>>109953235>>109945937does he really think what people want most from a browser is garish purple and orange bright neon everywherewell actually maybe they do and that's terrible
>>109941117holy fuck thank you
>>109944717
>>109954072right-click on the reload icon
>>109949400we've been saying that for years
>>109954072had that bug too until I closed all settings/addons tabs and restarted the browser.guess some parts of settings page can get stuck in cache.
I love firefox, I don't recall ever criticizing it for anything ever, however I don't want to see the Satanic pride flag icon. Add an option with a cross.
>>109953964HEY PAUL!
>>109946604i prefer it with the border. last time it was difficult to distinguish the active tab from any other tab in high ambient light scenarios. if you don't like the gradients pick another color theme from the menu
>>109940779They brought back an 8 year old bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1422922You can disguise it by changing the preferred website appearance to match the browser theme.
>>109954225Retro 2004 might as well be a cross with how they hiss and shriek at actually good graphic design like it burns them
>>109954072there's a direct in the toolbar customization menus
what a bunch of goddamn retards what the fuck
>>109940399every single update makes this god forsaken browser worse and worse. what the hell were they thinking?
i use sideberry, i used to be able to activate the side panel to switch between active tabs and my phone browser synched tabs now i can't see how to switch
>>109954324>not supportedat least it works, for now.
>>109954387supported but you're using a custom configuration anyway
fucking history takes nearly a full second to load now>"compact"hah!
>my CSS is back to square UI>add-ons pop-ups are still roundthese UI faggots are getting paid for this abortion they're forcing on everybody
>>109954426>>109954383>>109954399>>109954412>>109954420
>here is your dark theme if you don't like the update bro!ffs UI troons it's not dark enough. can't you see that half of my fucking screen still gray?
>>109954444I fixed it back to my normal, I am just annoyed and angry because autistic what an awful way to start my day
>>109940399just pointing out the two fixes that worked for me>>109954459pure dark theme without gradienthttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-proton/>>109942748for removing round tabs entirely including from add-ons
>>109954469>pure dark theme without gradientTHANK YOU. this is exactly just as it was before the update. it's insane that this theme is not a default skin.
>>109946185>>109946269Thank you.One slight problem though - dark mode borders are so low contrast it make url bar almost blend into inactive tabs.
>>109942748
more photos would be nice
>>109954996How many tabs are you on right now
>>109955300I'm on https://mrotherguy.github.io/firefox-csshacks/?file=icon_only_tabs.css
>>109940399About:configset browser.nova.enabled to falseyou're welcome
>>109955258you know what would be really nice?appending unix time and date to the snapshot filename and letting you switch the output to png or jpg
Are any of you guys’ widgets missing from the new tabs?
No.
>>109955434oh yeah? watch this https://youtu.be/Tb2Rt-ccw2c
>>109940399Simple really
>>109955475
>>109942408It's made for 4:3 CRT Chads, anon.
>>109940422thanks m8
>>109940422thank you anon
>>109940399>Why is everything so round now?I don't know.I'm not upgrading anytime soon.I'll stay in 152 where my userChrome still works and I don't need to pray those fucking retards broke something making me fix it for the FUCKING nth time.Fuck them retards constantly making shitty changes to the interface, bunch of motherfuckers.
>>109956369>I don't need to pray those fucking retards didn't break something making me fix it for the FUCKING nth time.Ftfm.
Does anyone else not use what's "optimal" and just use what looks better? Vertical tabs are technically better, so is a left sided taskbar. But personally I just think it looks ugly.
>>109955054LOL
>>109954420>looney tunes browser
>>109941029I think it's just autism. People act like it's physically painful to use something because a color changed or some corners lost a few pixels. Are people really opening their browser to stare at the title bar?
does anyone know how to make only the top half the gradient like in pic related. i prefer how this looks the entire thing being a gradient
>>109940399It's fucking gross; I love it.
>>109941696Oh, they can create bloated scamware by outsourcing it to India. Point still stands.
>>109945458Where do you have that? I can't find it. In fact mine just shows the Wayland icon for whatever reason.
>>109945544Still just werks, stop shouting. Fucking asshole, this is a cunting family web sights, you piece of shit.
>>109954225Stop LARPing as a christian, you fucking idiot.
>>109958095The android update was worse than the desktop one. I was able to get it close to how it was before, but it still feels wrong.
>>109958133Accidental reply as I am still in a state of confusion from a small yet annoying ui change.
itt: anons afraid of change
>>109958206The change was needless.
>>109943632(you) issue
>>109958250But will someone think of the poor frontend designers?
>>109945458>>109958347
>>109954225>>109958347
>>109940399>lepton finally got updated 20 days agoI can finally have a logical browser again.
>>109940422>you can disable the redesign**until they break it in future release
>>109959162"When the devs remove an option you like" is as good time as any to switch to a fork. For me, that point is if they ever break the old profiles system in favor of the new half-baked one they implemented not that long ago. How's Floorp doing these days anyway? Nobody ever talks about it anymore, it's only Waterfox.
Well because Waterfox is as close as you can get to standard Firefox, with all the extraneous bullshit trimmed.
>>109959629Didn't people start hating it when it was bought by an ad company?
>>109959776> In July 2023, Alex Kontos announced that Waterfox had been turned into an independent project again.
>all these useless round redesigns>ctrl+h still utter garbage>cant even copy and replicate chromes much better history managementfuck this shite
cant even remove these only disable themLMAOOOO
>>109960021The inconvenient menu is still instant - So it's not an overall worsening of performance, just incompetence.
>>109960049Yeah welcome to 2026 internet, where they cater to npcs who will accidentally remove them and then they won't know how to renable them. You can remove them using policies.json
>>109958206a useless change that only causes problems for users. Instead of doing my work, now I have to spend my time fixing a broken CSS.Tinker troon and unemployed leftist losers love these UI refresh that Mozilla does because they have nothing better to do with their lives
>>109940399i'm afraid to restart my browser because i know it'll fuck up the newtab page and i'll have to fix it again
