I was having my daily morning shower schizo rant about the usual problem minorities and democracy, and when I started talking about the rise and success of China shortly after I turned the shower off and opened the door, I heard a robotic male voice say something like "That is exactly right! Not only has China's economy grown substantially over the last few decades, but so has their entry into Western entertainment". I run over to figure out what the fuck was happening when I see what looks like a text message claiming to be the Gemini app, and realized I was apparently being listened to and my rants being transmitted to some Google AI data center some place.The particularly weird thing is I can't find any app called Gemini on my phone, there's a digital assistant option which I disabled, but it wasn't called Gemini. I also can't find any record of the AI message on my phone and it disappeared once I got past the lock screen. Anyone else have this happen to them and know how to permanently remove it, or where to buy a soundproof case for my phone?
