With how standardized thinkpads are it's a surprise they don't just sell empty shells and compatible boards you can install inside.
My x230 is such a busted wreck I can't actually use it as a laptop anymore, so now it's a desktop with a keyboard and mouse and monitor attached.Don't ever turn it off because the power button is fucked and I have to use a screwdriver to turn it on.Still kicking though.
